I'm new to Lexington and was referred to Jess at Namaste. I couldn't get an appointment with her, so I tried Marilu. At this point, I've had massages with both Marilu and Ana. They were excellent. Both therapists spent time with me, listening to what was giving me discomfort and then provided wonderful treatments. They're different from each other, but both did very deep work. Both found my sore spots and both worked very smoothly, moving from one part of my body to the next. I'm very happy with Namaste Massage and would recommend it to anyone looking for either a good deep tissue massage or a relaxation massage.
Pros: talented therapists, very nice, good listeners, easy to find, easy parking
Cons: none

Today I received my first deep tissue massage from Sarah and honestly it was heaven. She listened attentively as I described where the tender areas on my body were and with care and caution attended to those areas. She was kind, attentive and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a relaxing and truly great massage!
Pros: Relaxing Enviornment, Great Staff!

I was given a gift certificate to Namaste Massage and went last Saturday. It was a great experience. The place is beautiful; very serene and peaceful. The massage therapist was very welcoming and friendly. My boyfriend came with me and had fun roaming around town for an hour. The massage was excellent. The pressure was very deep and very relaxing. I went into a zone and didn't want to come out. The hour went by much too quickly, but aside from that the whole experience was divine. I highly recommend this place and will definitely go back.
Pros: Great parking. Beautiful office space; serene and peaceful. Comfortable place to sit and have a cup of tea.
Cons: none

I have been going to Jess for massages for a while now. I used to go to another massage place until a friend insisted I try her. I was positive I was with someone who was perfect for me but I went to namaste just to get my friend off my back. I HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK! Jess was AMAZING! I had spots on my shoulder blades that had hurt since I was young...those little achy muscles drove me crazy forever. One hour with her and the pain was GONE. I never asked her to work on them but she just seemed to know where all my sore spots were and worked them out with such ease. She found each and every part of my body that hurt and I left there in a state of bliss. That was the first time. I soon was seeing her once a month for regular massages and really got to know her. Jess is such a sweet caring person. She is funny and intelligent and I love the times we spend chatting as she starts to work her magic. She is just incredible. The new place she put together is so beautiful and relaxing and I'm thinking of trying to hire her to decorate my house too! :) If you are looking for the best massage around do yourself a favor and try Namaste just once. You will never go anywhere else again!
Pros: Best massage you will ever have! Beautiful new office. So relaxing.
Cons: NONE AT ALL

I have been going to Jess at Namaste Massage for several years, and have found her to be one of the best massage therapists I've ever had. (As a healing practitioner myself, I am pretty picky!) Last week I had the pleasure of having a massage with Juliana, Namaste's newest therapist, and it was WONDERFUL! Juliana is a gifted bodyworker. She is gentle and firm at the same time, that perfect combination that makes for an excellent massage. She asked the right questions and listened to my answers: she really paid attention to my needs. She is also a lovely person; easy to talk to and easy-going and sharp! I am so happy to have another fantastic massage therapist at Namaste to refer my clients to! The new space is just beautiful and makes you feel like you just walked into a spa! I am so glad Namaste moved to Lexington!!!
Pros: Beautiful space, excellent practitioners, convenient, good parking

Finding Namaste Massage is the best thing that's happened to me in weeks! I called because I'm working on this incredibly stressful project and I just needed some down time and stress relief for my aching neck and shoulders. My usual massage therapist was booked and Namaste was able to fit me in (amazing, because I hear that you have to book these busy therapists weeks in advance!). There is great parking behind the building, and the building gives no hint of the oasis awaiting inside. The office is on the second floor and the moment you walk in you know you are somewhere special. The space is beautiful, calm, and welcoming. It is homey - like I wish my home looked like this! And at the same time it's professional and impeccably clean. Great massage tables, beautiful sheets and quilts on the massage table. The massage therapist who worked on me (I think she is the newer one) asked me questions about how I was feeling and what needed attention, and she followed through on every comment I made, asking along the way if she was getting at the spots that were aching, was the pressure good, etc. Just gently asking for feedback, and I knew she was really trying to work on me in a focused, healing way. Amazing. Honestly, I can't imagine going anywhere else, so now I've got to figure out if I'm going to drop my previous massage therapist and continue at Namaste. Actually, it's not an "if" question, it's a "when" question! Just a great experience.
Pros: GREAT massage, beautiful space, easy parking
Cons: Not on public transportation

I've been on yoga retreats to Costa Rica where they employ body workers that are absolutely incredible. Jess, the proprietor of Namaste Massage, is as good or better than any of them. She has that rare mixture of excellence with the "feel" part of the massage along with the intellectual part- the knowledge of muscular and skeletal systems. Her new business space in Lexington is beautiful and comfortable, well worth the drive from wherever you live in the Boston area. My opinion is that once you try Namaste, you'll never go anywhere else for a massage.
Pros: Easy to get there, easy to park, great massage
Cons: none

I have known Jess & Namaste Massage for a couple years now and I am glad to follow them to the new location in Lexington. At first I thought, how can an equally or more beautiful space be created after I experienced the calm and protection of the Arlington rooms ... but Jess has outdone herself. The space is open, and beautiful (truly soothing colors and design choices) and I feel completely at home. My next challenge was to try someone new ... Jess feels like the best to me, how could I try someone else? Jess' appointments fill up quickly and my available time is often last-minute. Jess recommended I try her new therapist, Juliana. I trust Jess, so I trust the suggestion. The results? Juliana was SUPERB. She was kind, thorough, much stronger than her small frame suggests -- and she not only respected my limits, if I told her pressure felt like too much, but she encouraged me to breathe through discomfort for my benefit (which I truly wanted for relief of knotted muscle). Juliana was also respectful of quiet, talking when I talked, allowing peace when I didn't. Finally, I could clearly tell that Jess had trained Juliana, in similar techniques, style and attention. Jess trained her well! I highly recommend Namaste Massage (Jess & Juliana interchangably) to anyone who wants a professional, caring, meaningful massage.
Pros: Massage skill; parking
Cons: None!

I have had many massages in my time, and few compare to my experience with Juliana at Namaste Massage. She had an obvious intuition about how to best treat my aches and pains. She managed to find even the smallest aching muscles and smooth them to satisfaction. If you are looking for a serious therapeutic massage, Namaste Massage is the best kept secret in Lexington!
Pros: Atmosphere, music, convenient parking

I had a pretty bad massage from the new person. Went through a kind of formal process of asking me my preferences, then just ignored them when doing the massage. [Also, as they offer the coupon through citysearch and talked about it a lot--something gave me the sense all these positive reviews aren't legit. Going back, all the reviews that I checked were from people whose review of this place, is there only one. Fishy...)
Pros: Easy parking
Cons: Bad massage
