I visited Zen Muscular Therapy this week for the first time, and I was totally blown away. I had by far the best deep tissue massage ever. I was lucky enough to book a time with the owner, Sheila as I heard it was very hard to get in with her. Well, my expectations were surpassed by far. She is one of the most knowledgable massage therapists I've ever had, and she knew excactly what muscles and areas to work on to relieve my aches and pain (I never knew that muscles in other areas of my body were so connected!). I left there feeling almost drunk I was so relaxed. She really has a great place there, and she told me she personally trains her staff so that if I need to get back in sooner than she can see me, I wouldn't be disappointed with anyone else and be well taken care of. They even set up a student clinic to help train and mentor the next generation how great is that? Absolutely the best in the area!
Pros: Super Knowledgable, cozy
Cons: NONE

I love getting a massage and have tried different treatments from all over, but I have to say that my favorite by far is the Thai Yoga massage that I get at Zen in Burlington. I get the best stretching of my life, and I leave there feeling relaxed, loose and totally centered from the yoga/energy aspect. I see why this treatment is nicknamed lazy man's yoga! The center is cozy and has a very friendly and professional staff who all seem highly educated and extremely experienced. Check out this place, you will be glad you did.
Pros: Several treatments to choose from, good location/parking, cozy atmosphere
Cons: couples thai massage not offered

I’ve tried quite a few massage places in the area, and this is by far the best. I’ve been able to call pretty much last minute and they almost always are able to fit me in. I have seen a few of the therapists there including Shiela the owner and Keri and they have all surpassed my expectations. They really seem to have a superior understanding of the body and muscle system, which is very important to me. I don’t want to trust my body to just anyone, and you can tell that the therapists here are highly trained. They even have students come in from local schools and help train them too. I can pretty much guarantee that once you go to Zen you won’t want to bother going anyplace else.
Pros: Staff knowledge, full 60 min treatments, easy access
Cons: No insurance coverage

I have been at Zen a few times for Deep Tissue Massage and am extremelly happy with the therapy they offer. Keri's deep work is very effective and takes my upper back and hip pain away. If you need intentional, injury related work, check this place out. I will definitely go back.
Pros: Convenient parking, nice atmosphere, friendly therapist

I've been a client at ZMT for close to two years now. I first went there because my wife's coworker always raved about the massages.....and I figured I would try it because I'd been having alot of pain in my low back (and my wife was getting sick of me complaining). No matter which therapist I've seen over the years, I leave there feeling absolutely amazing. They really do offer the best deep tissue massage/sports massage that I've ever had. I'm not surprised they win best massage each year. The place is very relaxing and the office staff are just extremely pleasant and helpful. They even have a student clinic now to help train the next generation of therapists......and if you don't need help for a particular pain issue and want a nice relaxing massage you can see a student for half price! Not a bad deal to fill in between regular sessions, that's what I do. Whatever your pain or issue is, you should really get a good deep tissue massage, and Zen Muscular Therapy is THE place to go in my opinion.
Pros: Professional Staff, Atmosphere, Easy parking, Student Clinic
Cons: none

I had heard great things about this place, so when I fell recently and hurt my back I decided to call for an appoinment. What I heard about this place was pretty much right on target. When I told the receptionist what had happend and explained what kind of pain I was in, she made sure to get me in right a way. The owner Sheila, who I met while I was waiting , made me feel right at home and seems to take a great deal of pride in her center and her staff. The therapists that I've had so far are very nice and seem to be quite knowledeable about the body and injuries. I'm very happy with my treatment at Zen and I'd say this is the place to go if you are having a pain problem for sure, but also if you want to see someone who has a good understanding of the body and is focused on your health in general.
Pros: service
Cons: none

I recently moved to this area from California and needed to find a quality place for massage. I used to see an amazing massage therapist in San Fran where I had treatments weekly for back pain. Upon moving to MA, I was worried that I wouldn't find the same quality of care here (CA is big on holistic health etc.).. Was I wrong! I was lucky enough to hear about Zen Muscular Therapy from one of my new coworkers, and decided to give them a try. This place is small, but has a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff is very friendly as well as professional. There are a few therapists that work there, and I've just seen two at this point, but both were excellent and completely understood what was going on with my back. They specialize in pain relief which is what I needed. This was much better than the alternatives I had been looking at, the "chain" massage studios that offered very cheap treatments but the staff were all straight out of school and often had no idea how to do anything other than your usual swedish massage. I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for high quality massage therapy.
Pros: Very professional, knowledgable staff. Easy access to highway, plenty of parking.
Cons: none really

Great service and committed staff. They have helped me with my sports injury which allows me to remain active in the sport I love, golf! Already booked 3 more sessions!
Pros: ambience

Great place, very relaxing, peacful atmosphere. Excellent deep tissue massage, not afraid to really get deep and get out the knots. I would highly reccommend to anyone who has fitness/sports related muscle injuries. They cater to exactly what you need. The Thai massage (stretch and massage combined) is awesome too ---especially for those of us who have really tight , unflexible muscles ---it loosens you right up.

I've had several massages there with Sheila, shes amazing, very professional, she critiques the massage to what you want. I've had many massages at other places and this place is definitely the best. The atmosphere and decor is very nice, very peaceful and modern looking. Also easy to find, plenty of parking and a great locatoin. I would highly recomend them to anyone!
Pros: Quality work, very nice atmosphere
Cons: none
